Hi, Does anybody know if its possible to force dismount of an imdisk volume from the command line? I see this is an option from the control panel plug-in which prompts to force dismount if the driver is unable to lock the device, but cannot see a corresponding option using imdisk.exe.

Thanks, Rob

Hi,

Use a capital D instead of d in the dismount option for this:

imdisk -D -m R:

imdisk -d -m R:

That worked perfectly - thanks Olof! Seems I missed that option in the help...
