The original plugin by Jeff Crystal needs XPE.

Can you post an example of usage?

Maybe hard to believe but we're not all as smart as youExample:
Use it - it very simple
First, thank you for the tools, they seem to be just what I'm looking for but a few simple hints on how to use them would be nice since the original blog is gone. I get empty pcilist.txt when directing checkandins.exe to offline C:\WINDOWS from PE. Better results with drvlistbuild.exe, I get (seeming accurate) devices.txt, mass.log and mass.dd output, now what

Why can't you use Offline Sysprep (or one of the tools you can find in it's Forum) ?

DriverInjection GUI comes closest to what I'm looking for and it does work fine (most of the time), I'm always looking for quicker, simpler way to automate adding missing (SATA etc.) drivers to offline XP install after the fact. It's also very possible I've mis-understood the use of the current tool in question, I just wanted more info for testing/evaluation.

In the post above, the link to DriverInjection.7z is broken. I did a Google search and I downloaded what supposed to be the same files. I scanned them and they came clean however the 7z archive seems to be broken as the files cannot be read. I tried a few different locations.

@Wonko
thanks for quick and many links. we all knew they all work differently [steps and commands of cause]
but how nice if offline OS [driver needed] can [inject=drvlistbuild] from booted [pe\i386].
fast & easy...
@cyb_fh
How'bout OS coverage, [XP/Vista/7]?
