I am looking for a real quick win7 pe based boot for usage in ghosting.

The only thing I really need is the ability to run ghost32 from a usb harddisk as I use it in my work to clone and deploy disk images at work.

I also want the win7pe to be booted from a usb disk. Not a flash drive but an actual harddisk.

I could use the bootwizard that is included with ghost but the image doesn't feel very quick at all and it is vista baased wich seems to be a bit slower to me than win7 based ones.

I do need the image to support ahci as that is what our computers use.

There are minimal projects for winbuilder that create images around 50Mb.

Look around these forums. Also, within most projects you can deactivate scripts with functions that you don't need and get the overall image slimmed down to a faster boot up.

You should have posted this type of question on a project specific sub-forum like VistaPE or Win7PE.

I'm sure this would give more attention to your request. Over here is more typical to see requests made to the winbuilder.exe script engine but you're looking for modifications to the available project.
