I searched everywhere on the net about this subject and didn't find any solution or tutorial there, so I figured hey why I do not post one for you out there who needs this, since Norton Ghost 2003 is by any means the best of the best to backup and restore your PC, its just so perfect, even the newer Norton Ghost 2010 edition [ read my tutorial HERE]with all its fancy GUI, but its disappointingly fails many times to restore images, I guess I have to stop talking about how good Norton Ghost 2003 is and start with the tutorial:
- You need a Windows based PC to work with this tutorial.
- You need a 512 MB or better USB 2.0 thumb drive or better.
- Download this 1.23 MB essential zipped file from HERE, and extract to desktop, you will see 3 folders:
- Open folder # 1 and execute (usb_disk_storage_format.exe), follow the steps below, and be careful to choose folder # 2 in step 7:
- Now open folder # 3 and copy all its contents to the USB thumb drive.
- You are ready now to test the USB you just created, boot your PC with it, and good luck, we are done.
