I have summed up a lot of the stuff I wrote earlier about vmdks
and the special procedures I use when recovering data from broken virtual machines.

It is maybe 1/5 done but is already quite large.
It does not go very deep into the technical details yet - as already mentioned it is work in progress -
but I am sure it already can be a life saviour for desparate users who think they lost their data.
