.NET graphical tool for managing script file attachments ( no external utilities are used ).

Drop and drop and right click at various points in the tree are supported ( the script / folder / file each have a right click menu )

cool.
have you though about support for interface embedded components? (images, text, etc)

additional thoughts:

do you have/plan to support command line adding/deleting of attachments? It would be useful for development if I could setup to add a program to the script automatically when I compile it. manually re-adding the files to the x86 x64 folders every time I want to test a bug/feature gets old fast. :whistling:

Thanks a lot paraglider :blowup:

Hi Galapo,

very good catch :blowup: I guess error comes from [EncodedFile-html-LiveXP.txt]

[html]
LiveXP.txt=blabla

missing in the script
...... :whistling: edit: --> nope this is not the reason

edit2:
error comes because of dipeico.ico
here is a test script
http://lancelot.winb.....20test v2.rar

@paraglider

can we have an option to attempt rescue (extract) for such files ?
can we have a warning for such files (LiveXP.txt) with having extract at hand ?
an idea to have command support to point script file so we can right click (or send to) and open with wbzipmgr
as far as i know official script file extensions that contain files are: .script , .project , .scriptold , .projectold

:ph34r:

very good catch :whistling:

Well, it was pure fluke on my behalf as I do not ordinarily consider myself a bug-catcher. It just so happened that this was one of two scripts on my desktop and I happened to test the two of them.

Regards,
Galapo.

Cannot reproduce the crash with that script. What did you do to make it crash?

Posted an updated version. It will catch any exception when attempting to create the bitmap for the script icon and ignore it. You won't get the icon displayed when this happens.

Now exactly this happens :dubbio:

can we get author encoded in the list to get icon out.

edit: maybe helps

Updated to version 1.0.0.2.

Hopefully this will fix the problem with showing the authorembedded image when its an icon. Also added option to extract authorembedded image.

1.0.0.3 available. This adds optional command line support:

wbzipmgr <scriptFile> <Folder> <FileToAdd>

If only <scriptFile> is specified then program will open with specified script file added.

If all three parameters are specified the program will add the file to the specified folder in the script and exit.

Also created an msi to install the program and add right click link to explorer:

Hi paraglider,

Thanks a lot, + icons are also working ;)

reminding my previous post, "script_auto_file" is not wb default association.
They are
WinBuilder.link (->so far does not contain file)
WinBuilder.project
WinBuilder.script

check wb-->options-->write button.

also check html\LiveXP.txt file extraction at
unwbzip WBZipMgr test v3
it is accidentally (on current case for test purposes, intentionally) broken attached file which can be extracted successfully. (think a rescue case)

;)

zip file for msi updated to install links for .project and .link.

Don't believe its correct for wbzipmgr to show files that are not correctly linked via a folder in the script file as winbuilder cannot access them.
