i've done Everything but the last step in this guide.
http://www.etherboot...i/sanboot/winxp

however.. the part where i edit teh dhcpd conf and restart it simple enough but it thru me off track.

what i understand AoE booting cant by "ip/TCP'd" akak it cant be routed. meaning no multipule subnets.. No booting from internet etc. this is my home network sofar.

Internet= SBC DSL 92Wire gateway Modem=Builtin Router w/ 4 port eithernet) --- Server (which i've done almost everything to) , Main pc Wireless, Laptop 1: Wireless Gaming Consoles Wired via AP Repeater (Linksys WRT54g using dd-wrt firmware insteadof linksys's own.) Laptp 2 Disless system to be connected to that repeater via eithernet dhcp server in it is disabled as it draws and defines IPs from teh DSL modem.

this guide if i Completly understand it... means the AoE target /Server is also teh dhcp server.

can i set it so its connected to teh repeater (well gets set into Regular repeater not repeater bridge) keep dhcp server in it disabled make the server that'll host the AoE image.teh DHCP server. it handles and gives teh downed (Diskless ) Laptop an IP and starts boot ?

or is there any Linux OS that'll save me a whole mess of headache's that'll work with the Texas Instruments TI PCI 1620 with Ultramedia 5 in 1 card reader? it's teh only reason i looked into that Boot XP from SAN guide.
