I have come to the conclusion that my problem with booting Win 7 from USB HD, is the USB Hd I am using. Well I should not say the HD, but rather the controler board (SATA2 To USB Simpletech board number HDD-2518-sc).

So I was wondering for those who have got Win 7 running from their USB HD, what are you using? Or suggest an enclosure that works.

Thanks,

Dave

1. Thermaltake BlacX A (USB/eSATA - SATA) docking station
2. PROBOX (USB - SATA) 2.5" disk enclosure
I am not using them now but I have tested them last year.

Thanks karyonix, that BlacX looks great and works on both eSata and USB ports. Ordering one now.
