Hello!

I've been struggling to get this working, and I'm almost there... but now I'm stuck!

Here's what happens:

I can get the image to load to RAM
I get to the point where I'm asked to "Press any key to boot from CD"
I press "any" key
The system reboots... no warnings ... no errors displayed

I've tried MEMDISK 3.85, 4.00 (alpha) and the one that comes with WinVBlock.

Also, here's my pxelinux.cfg Default file:

LABEL Windows XP

	LINUX fog/memdisk/memdisk

	INITRD fog/memdisk/XPSP2_EN.iso

	APPEND iso

MENU LABEL Windows XP SP2 [EN]

	TEXT HELP

PXE Boots Windows XP SP2 [EN]

	ENDTEXT

I've also tried with APPEND raw, to no avail...

Help is appreciated. Thanks!

Did you try:
APPEND iso raw
or only APPEND raw (which is wrong if you want to boot from an ISO file)?

Yes, I tried both approaches... same result.

What puzzles me is the fact that the ISO loads and starts well, or else I wouldn't see the "press a key" message.
I don't know what happens hardware-wise after I press the key...

How much RAM does your PC have?
How big is the ISO file?
Did you try to boot it in a VM?
