Congratulations. :D

Since all you provided till now are a couple of lousy screenshots, I don't think there is any reason for a new thread (old one is here):
http://www.boot-land...showtopic=10706

And both should go here:
http://www.boot-land...hp?showforum=25

(the most pointless "teasing/pointless showoff" section of the board, IMHO).

yes pointless. show your screenshots and we can see how much you get closed. i show because i tired of to hear "it cant be, it is impossible". there are lots of admins they can send my post to garbage anytime. i dont care.

I guess you misinterpreted the meaning of my post.

If you tell me that you managed to get a winpe based on 7 in a 316 Mb wim that can run on a machine with 512 Mb, I will trust your word for it without the need for you to produce any screenshot and be happy about your achievement. :D

Then I would be interested to know how you made it, and again the screenshots are to me of no use.

There is a (deprecated by me, personally) specific section where people is supposed to post screenshots of their achievements.

If you post just screenshots it would be advisable to post them there.

If you post info on how to replicate your build, then this is the right place.

soory but nobody get interested and wanted help me about my experiences. of course i can share my experiences and difficulties. how can a service get it work. how to get a function work. i can help as i much if the questions are technical and clear. i also want to get this project grow too.

Well, maybe you didn't asked or didn't ask to the right people or in the right way for support. ;)

if you want see 512 ram machine i will add too. i add look ;)

No I don't want to see pictures, as said, I would like to see info, that will allow me to produce a similar build and consequently the screenshots (as opposed to just looking at them :D - BTW Turkish is not my native langage and I do have some difficulties with it ;))

We can make this as Q&A if you want.
Questions:
  • This is a PE 3.0, i.e. a PE based on Windows 7 sources, right?
  • Which program/tool/whatever has been used to create it?
  • No matter through which methods it was made, is it reproduceable?
  • If it was made manually, can you detail the steps you made?
  • If it was made through Winbuilder, can you post the .scripts you used?
  • Whatever the method are you willing to share the methods which you used?
  • Which features/programs have been kept?
  • Which features/programs have been removed to save space?

If the answer to question #3 is yes, then if the answer to either questions #4, #5 or #6 is yes, please do post the relevant info.

;)

Can you give as attachment already a list of Windows 7 files that you have added to Windows PE 3.0 ?

Does your PE has support for wireless internet with WPA2-PSK authentication ?

Hi vvurat,

I totally agree with jaclaz (Wonko), Well Italian is not my native language and I do have some difficulties with it (where sarcasm start and where it ends :) , why I care some other people words if you have your own,...... :) ) but the common goal (simply: free share :) ) and a good attitute keep us on the track.

This is about time and motivation to work on such things. People around share things they work on, like Max_Real QNX's Leopard, homes32's lock/shutdown,...... It is normal when you do not get answers of your questions if there is no ready answer around, people will try to provide you "available" findings (not pictures :) ).

Keep in mind, interest of power users on vista/win7 is about time and motivation. There are not much around and you seem to have time and motivation. When you figure out things follow a path you like (script, batch, au3, tutorial etc.) to share.

4-) I will detail everything (wait)

I feel win7 users will be more pleased when you provide instructions/tutorial/etc. to follow. Also I guess active win7 admins (ex: wimb) will be interested too ;).

I feel better to open a new "Instruction" topic for your findings and move these topics to screenshots , I will follow your preference.

You weren't around at the time, JFYI ;):
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=3380
http://www.boot-land...?...=3380&st=15

In Italian, strangely enough, when you tell someone that a matter is difficult you would say:
"Per me è arabo" (It looks Arabic to me) (but you can also use "Chinese"), but when you are angry because the person in front of you is not understanding what you are saying, you would invariably say:
"E che parlo, turco?" (What am I speaking, Turkish?)

Maybe this is derived by the long period of commerce (and wars) between Italy, Venice particularly, and the near East.

BTW, maybe someone should tell Nuno that probably during one of the attempts to update and better the board :), the support for accented characters was broken, so that everyone not using "kosher" Ascii seems like a demented typist using a set of black squares instead of characters.
The bad news are that unlike the known link problem where the stupid board software while changing the format of the links kept the original information, in this case it seems like the original info is lost forever.

Here the typical "WinBuilder forum illnes" is active.

There is a -maybe revolutionary (with my current knowledge I cannot decide)- idea "Nothing is impossible" of a member.
And it is discussed like:
"Nice, but you forgot ... etc."
And the author looks like a defendant who has to defend himself!

GREAT for improvement of WinBuilder's / forum's abilities! INCREDIBLE high motivation for the author! ;)

Thanks for "how to" tutorial. I hope the ones who carelfully reads (a bit like ant pray (karınca duasi gibi olmus ama olsun)) may learn somethings and can spend their time to figure out some plugins for projects.

Please check links at wimb's signatures, giving example IMG_XP topic
http://www.911cd.net...showtopic=23553
which may help you figure out how instructions well written for end users of different levels. ;)

And as usual, you are free to get advices or not.

Have fun. :)

Thanks that you do not disappear in the back as "disappointed member"

On the other hand, try to understand:
I currently also do not completelly recognize what your idea is offering.

A presentation of screenshhots is very impressive, if there are some explanations.
A presentation of screenshoots w/o explanations is seen by most members as advertising / spam ar whatelse. And therefore the reaction you got.
There shoud be a post like:

What we are missing now, is ....
And this is offerred by my solution, because ...

Personally to you as (old) newcomer: If there are any questions / troubles etc.: e-mail / PM me. I'm always ready and willing to help.

Peter ;)

And as usual with such links, the new member can choose inside (here) 29 post for the solution of his question. Really HELPFUL!
(I assume that there is no SPECIAL topic in a different forum built to answer the question coming up here 2 month later)
Or shold I really become a beleiver of :) ????

Maybe he finds ...
Maybe there is no answer for his question ...

Everybody wants small and wants everything. Both cant stay together. Functionality or speed and slimness need to choose one.

Words of rare wisdom, I find. ;)

Wonko approves of them. :)

Thanks for the description on how you build your PE.

The Screenshots illustrate a lot of functionality. Very good.

Can you give a screenshot of Device Management just after booting with your PE.

How about Sound, do you have also support for HD Audio ?

Have you tried to boot such PE from USB-harddisk or from local Harddisk or from USB-stick ?

At the moment I assume you boot from CD.
