Hi mitro, but the change of the graphics is giving colours on screen 4 and 640 x 480 ) why ?
there is a "refresh" missing with dipe for gpu driver installations.
After you close Dipe, SetResolution (\Components\Tweaks) should be doing the "refresh" automatically.
There is also a manual method well described BUT for some reason topic
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=5213
can not be accessed.
Can you create a topic at "Site Feed Back" http://www.boot-land...hp?showforum=75 saying you can not accsess the topic so Nuno can Notice and Fix boot-land server problem.

there, you will see a quote starting with "Here is something users pay attention when adding Graphics drivers:"
Opera The Best
Edit2: Sometimes a boot-land miracle happens and now topic fully accesable with all browsers.... sometimes not and an error screen comes
but Opera 10.10 always worksFatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5703591 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/boot-land.net/httpdocs/forums/sources/classes/class_display.php on line 557

Hi Lancelot
Thx for answer but i have another question.
Problem is when i use original DriveImport scrypt graphics driver work correct (manual add drives from folder )
If use Drive import anulax edition script in 2 cases manual or auto dosen't work correctly. Screen is setup 640x480 with 4 colours depth.
why is that ?

On first case, when you use Dipe standart script, after you close dipe, setresolution (which is default working behind) take care of screen refresh.
On second case, I am not sure what happens with Dipe amalux edition but it is obvious something prevents setresolution refreshing screen. Well better to wait amalux's reply. (amalux is from United States, GMT differences and having weekend or not effects reply times, but amalux always around , keep an eye here)
Temporary workaround: Try hotkeys (written on setresolution script) of setresolution after using Dipe amalux edition .

- Opera is the best
- the error: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5703591 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/boot-land.net/httpdocs/forums/sources/classes/class_display.php on line 557
is INTERNAL of the SERVER, NO MATTER which browser.
The only advantage Opera may have is that it's such a fast browser that it can get the page before the server realizes what's happening and is able to throw the error....
And you can add to your English knowledge an example of a "tall story"

1) Please confirm the comparison is between manual use of DIPE (in official script) vs. auto-import option in my script, i.e. does manually using DIPE in my script work or not?Problem is when Iuse original DriveImport scrypt graphics driver work correct.

2) I assume your testing the official dipe script in a different build than the auto-import version, please post both logs for comparison. I have not seen this issue and can't reproduce on any of the machines I have access to. Apparently SetResolution is not the issue, I think Lancelot has Multi-Res in auto-start (I don't) this may be the culprit and should be easy to test. As soon as you get to desktop, go to Start menu -> System -> Multi-Res and start it manually; you should be able to do this before DIPE has a chance to finish installing your GPU. If this is the issue, Multi-Res auto-start just needs to be checked in the script options here:

this is not about multires. But you are right, to be more sure better to remove from startup .
Story:
after dipe (or any other utility, ex: dforge) adds gpu driver, it adds successfully yes. But OS (on this case LiveXP) do not refresh/activate new driver properly and stops at 4 color screen. That is the reason I explained manual method at post #1 on "add driver" topic.
Later Galapo added setresolution a feature to detect drvimpe.exe and/or detect gpu driver name change hence making a billy api call that finishes rest.
As far as I remember, setresolution was detecting drvimpe.exe and waiting drvimpe.exe close. When drvimpe imports gpu, screen changes to 4 color, and when you close dipe setresolution makes api call if gpu changed.
I hope info helps

I still can't go to that link even with Opera 10.00 (I'll try 10.10 later but seems unlikely this will help). I understand what you're saying but have no way to test it, all my GPU's are working in hi color/hi res w/out need for DIPE. I'm still not clear if OP is talking about DIPE in general (possibly affected by different build issue) or the auto-import function only; afaik, the manual use of DIPE in both scripts should be the same. OP has to clarify this point to move forward in resolving the issue.Story:

Apparently SetResolution is not the issue (according to OP) but until questions in my previous post are answered, I have no idea how to proceedLater Galapo added setresolution a feature to detect drvimpe.exe and/or detect gpu driver name change hence making a billy api call that finishes rest.

well, please open a site feed back topicI still can't go to that link even with Opera 10.00 (I'll try 10.10 later but seems unlikely this will help).
Here is what it writes there:
Here is something users pay attention when adding Graphics drivers:
I use DP_Graphics_A_wnt5_x86-32_8102.7z to add my graphics driver
After importing
in display properties color number decreased to 4
http://img357.images...28081757he1.png
i click Advanced and than OK and OK
http://img98.imagesh...pressokanf6.png
Than again open display properties,
choose 32bit and resolution 1024x768 (my personal choice)
http://img388.images...openpropal3.png
And click OK, now GPU working with full power.
ps: Dont forget to increase frequency (if needed), my choice is 85hz (analog monitor)
I hope there will be better solution in next versions of dipe :>. For now this is the manual solution.
ps: Solution added to LiveXP with setresolution script, so all done automatically with LiveXP now
Good luck with OP
