The CreateBootloaderIso script is esentialy a modified CreateIso script (created by edborg). These two scripts do similar jobs and shouldn't be used together!

The script will copy bootfont.bin automatically if it is found in the source.

Attached File  BootloaderISO.JPG   76.5KB   306 downloads

The Run windows from RAM option requires SETUPLDR.BIN and RAMDRIVE.SY_ from a Server2003 R1 or higher source copied into the (Your Winbuilder folder)\Win2003 folder.
This option creates a "bootable Iso file on your CDbuild". This allows the "Virtual CD" to be loaded into a RamDrive from where the system boots. This speeds up the boot process and allows you to remove the bootCD after bootup.

The Create a bootable CD with a boot menu option adds a boot menu to your CD build.

The password options allow for a password at bootup. Just add the plain text password in the password box or the Hash5 result of the password in the Hash5 password box and select the right option. A usefull Hash5 calculator can be found at http://www.slavasoft...ce=HashCalc.chm.

You can also specify bootable disk images to boot from. These include bootable floppy/stiffy images (360k - 2880k), bootable HDD images, or bootable CD ISO files. All the Image files are copied to the BCDW folder on your CD build.
The Image file box takes only the filename.ext (don't and a path otherwise the menu won't find the file). The Menu entry is the name that appears in the menu, and the Boot menu description is self explanatory.

At the moment there are only 5 file image boxes but more can be added if required..

Happy hunting... :P

Nice work, Garfield. :P

Don't want to seem "picky", but giving a link to the actual .script might help other less experienced users :P :

P.S.: I am changing the title of the linked thread to reflect the name of the script....

i used this tonite. it seems to build ok but when i choose any boot option except pe the screen goes to starting bcdw with a flashing cursor and it hangs there. i checked the build and my iso image is in the bcdw folder. i made a diskimage folder ind the base dirctory where winbuilder is and am using this
image file location %basedir%\DiskImages\AcronisMedia.iso. i know the image works, it works in thunn's multiboot plugin. any ideas??
