I'm using tftpd32 as a DHCP. My system consits of:
- five members which have a static IP-address (I can't change them)
- five members which have no IP-address (I can't change to a static IP-address), but I know the MAC-address.
I'm using the DHCP to assign an IP-address to the five members without an address. I have a static assignment in my configuration-file.
The problem which occures is if these five members without IP-address are running before I could start the DHCP they wouldn't receive an IP-address and I don't have any access to them. If it is the other way round tftp32 will recognize these five members an assign the saved IP-address.
Can tftpd32 execute an ARP-Request (Broadcast) after it has started?
(I hope the five members will answer with a reply...)
Thanks in anticipation
