I cant find nuttin

With Win7pe the first post is so long and then to follow a post and comments is Frustrating
I cant find what I know is there,, So I have been printing out some posts

I do not want or like change..

Is this just me?????

Yes and NO
So i switched to Web 2.0 shin
Changed options as you said
BUT it is slow, and most times it will not open posts
Maybe I should read topics in Lo-Fi version ...

Classic view has always been faster ...

In Classic view, things have changed (not long ago) and I have been waiting for someone else to say something.

Posts are listed, not displayed under the first post ,, first post is on top of every page, and posts do not follow treads

maybe your "bookmark" may have an effect on this switch .
I always save topic bookmarks with simple format to avoid things

Going to web view making changes, then back to Classic view fixed problem

But i dont use web view at all i do not know how that changed in first place??

I can tell you for free (my crystal ball IS out of tuning, but not that much ;9).

You did a Google search.
One of the result pointed to boot-land Forum.
You clicked on that result.

Now, try again doing that and look at the address you have in your browser (try clicking on these three links):

http://www.boot-land...amp;mode=linear
http://www.boot-land...mode=linearplus

• if you have a trailing &mode=threaded, your view will be switched to "Outline"
• if you have a trailing &mode=linear, your view will be switched to "Standard"
• if you have a trailing &mode=linearplus, your view will be switched to "Linear+"

Once you have accessed the board with such a trail, "normal" navigating won't change the setting.

P.S.:In other words, UNLIKE what Lancelot said , in order to make sure you access the board "righteously" you should save your bookmarks appending to them "&mode=linear"

Let me post my "IMHO", too:

When as a new user I join a forum, I want to see something 'known'.

For me that is the classic view, with no back pictures, no "round corners", no "animated ???", etc, etc.

If I want to see all of this unnecessary, time consuming (and sometimes causing buggy WB behaviour) stuff, I want to have have the possibility to switch it on (if I need it).

But PLEASE: Do not force me to have all of this unwanted stuff!
