Will there be a non-64-bit version in the future that will support accessing the Physical Address Extension (PAE) memory to allow those of us using XP32 to use the "unused" ram as a ram disk? Gavotte Ramdisk has this feature .... but I like many of your other options.
Could be. (Or, reasonably likely, yes
I have done some testing around this with a separate driver for allocating memory through AWE. Unfortunately it turned out to be highly unstable on many machines so I have dropped it for now and will pick up that development some time in the future. I have no idea right now what I did wrong but I will try to find some information and sample code about how to safely use AWE functions.
If anyone is interested in this development, the separate driver for AWE allocation is called "awealloc" and it is included in the source archive.

thanks :-) looking forward to playing with the other features you have :-)
I see you have a new beta coming out - will it have PAE support?
I just tried to download your sources for to look at the awealloc sources - and the kaspersky scanner we use at work blocked it :-( will try to get them from home ...

Not PAE support natively. It can still use PAE memory through AWE allocation if you use the awealloc driver and have started Windows with both /pae and /awe turned on. There are no changes to the awealloc driver in this version.
