Not sure if this is the right forum-section for this.
Basically how does one know if a HDD is partitioned properly ? Is there any app that can check it ?
I originally partitioned my HDD with GParted from Parted Magic 3.5. However when I run other partition managers like Ranish, sfdisk, or even testdisk they indicate various errors like "wrong sector count", "bad this .. that .. whatever". But GParted itself does not complain.
