New version of FileSharer!
Hi, I improved FileSharer by adding two new exciting features:
* Connections tab to be informed on who's connected/uploading/downloading.
* Simple authentication plugin. To add security to your published files/folders.

There's a similar source code here (it's written in portuguese but I hope it can give you an idea of how it can be done):

Thinking of it, how does one connect to the filesharer if it's not ftp or http? The tool doesn't seem to have any browsing/downloading capabilities.

I tried sharing a folder then copying the ip that it allows you to copy and used IE to try to look at the files but I cant see them. I tried another computer and same thing.

btw. Is this just your 'fun' project or did you had an epiphany about how to make a better http file server?

Thanks for the clarification Leonardo!

I created this because my sister was having serious problems trying to send large files to a friend. Then I showed the utility to my coworkers and it was adopted instantly, and started asking for some additions, like Uploading and Security.
Now, I'm considering creating a "more professional" version.
