[Script] FIPS

There exists a driver FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standard) which is needed for e.g. VMWare scripts

Maybe somebody can explain, what FIPS is doing, I do not know. So I decide for my famous 'Voodoo'

But I wrote a script to install it and upload to nativeEx server.

Peter - I only know that the fips-vodoo must be closely related to the SSL-implementation which in turn must be closely related to the new remote VNC options that comes with WS 6 / VMplayer 2.

Earlier versions of VMware with the older vnc-implementation didn't have it.

In VMTN some users complained about a mssing fipssig.dat but no one from VMware ever explained it.
So in some occasions I send those users a copy of my fipssig.dat which solved their issue.

Peter - I just remembered that very early versions of my MOA-stuff for WS 4.5 worked without adding something like the XPE-crypto plugin.
My latest builds all contain those functions.
But I am not 100% sure that it really is required ???

What is it? What's the reason that it exists?

Maybe that is used to configure the correct keyboard layout when a VM is used via VNC ?
