How to create a new project or script

To automatically create a new project:

  • Press the "Open" button
  • Select a folder where you want your project to be
  • If needed press the "Make New folder" button to make a folder wher your scripts are placed
  • Press "Ok" and a new script.project file is created and this project is added to winbuilder.ini
Hint: You can choose any folder to place your script files, but it is recommended to use a subfolder from where winbuilder is run - this will allow your project to be portable instead of using a fixed path. To keep things organized, it is recomended that you place your project inside the Projects folder.

Example: c:\Documents\Winbuilder\Projects\MyNewProject will become %BaseDir%\Projects\MyNewProject

Inside of your project you can make subfolders to group your scripts, take a look at the way how scripts are organized inside any of the projects that come with winbuilder to see how this works.

I use paint from ms..

First, select the line tool to choose a line size a bit bigger with the color red, then select the square with rounded edges tool.

tip: when saving the image - in jpg it will lose the color quality, but in png the quality is nice and still keeps a good file size..

It's powerful, freeware and multi-lang :P
