Hi there;
I wanted to present the PING Project to you, so to get your opinions and suggestions.
PING is a Linux ISO, bootable with a CD/DVD or network (PXE), shipped with tools and ready-to-use scripts.
PING's purpose is to backup and restore whole partitions or hard disk drives, either locally, either on a network share.
Everything is available here:
http://ping.windowsdream.com/
PING is licenced under the GPL (GNU Public Licencing), and is free to use and modify.
Regards
Natan

Welcome Natan!
Very good project, we've been traditionaly discussing windows specific boot disks, but is good to see some linux projects being proposed.
People with linux know-how are surely invited to help explaining better how they can be used - please also post a refering topic on TFTPD32 forum here: http://www.boot-land...ftpd32-f58.html
Would be good to have quick topic for those just starting fresh with PXE booting.

Welcome, Natan
Happy you joined us.
Of course I know quite well PING, and I use to recommend it:

Are you also connected to "WINNER"? :
http://winner.windowsdream.com/
I recently tried helping a member using it:
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=2322
and though in this case WINNER did not work , the use of it's guide for using tftp32 has been very useful .
You could probably add some interesting knowledge here:
