Hello,
Is it possible to set the read-only attribute to an already attached ramdisk?
My current solution is to save the ramdisk to an image file and mount that image as RO, which is not too bad I guess. It allows me to use the junctions (which point to existing partitions/paths) on that disk and to not risk having them altered. This is good because some utilities choke on junction points (some antivirii, for instance) and try to go into infinite loops.
Edit: Thanks Olof, that was really quick!
(solved) REQ: set ramdrive as read-only at runtime?

Yes, I have added that possibility now.Hello,
Is it possible to set the read-only attribute to an already attached ramdisk?
Example:
imdisk -e -o ro -m B:This will change drive B: to read-only.
