During an installation of Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) or CentOS 6.4, I'm receiving the error:
Examining Storage Devices
The installation source given by device ['/dev/sda4'] could not be found. Please check your parameters and try again.
I've tried multiple .iso extensions all resulting in the same error.
We were able to find a work-around, however it reduces the usability of the drive to a single distro installation.
Extracting from:
http://iniu.net/cont...econd-harddisk/
Copy the downloaded Oracle Enterprise linux ISO file to the USB flash
Copy the ‘images’ folder to the usb flash
Copy file ‘initrd.img’ and ‘vmlinuz’ (under the ‘isolinux’ folder) to the root of the usb flash
That means, I now have the iso on there twice and the other files, which are specific to that distro.
Is this something solved by a custom menu or setting that I'm missing?
Thanks
