Hello,

Fairly new to pxelinux / bootmgr but I would like to know what I am missing :

I have a pxelinux environment working fine with memdisk + booting a small iso file.

My next test is the following

the pxe default file contains :

COM32 chain.c32

append boot ntldr=iso/win2012/bootmgr

where win2012 contains all the exact files of the win2012server installation dvd

then I boot a another machine using PXE

it boots fine the pxelinux but then I have the

0xc000000e error from \boot\bcd

boot configuration data for your pc is missing or contains errors

what am I missing ?

thanks

you are probably missing  the ftptp mapping file.      take a look at this read, it is an excellent source for booting winpe over syslinux.
