it would be nice to see Eject and Retract working.
i am a programmer and could write a program that eject the drive, put new iso in the config file, and then retract the drive.
no more waiting 60 seconds for the device to detect it.
do you think that's posible?

Eject and Retract are on the to-do list - just added them to the Trello board as well.
However, an eject - change config file - retract sequence will not be any faster because the isostick firmware still waits for the dirty bit to be cleared on the FAT32 partition. See this topic for more info.
I am working on getting around this limitation by having isostick wait a short while (~500ms) after the last write, then attempting to re-read the config file if it was modified by any recent writes. The EFI/isosel issues have taken priority, but I have added cards for this to the Trello board.
