Hello every one

im facig a BSOD 7b when trying to install xp from usb ...

after setup loading files i have BSOD and i think its sata driver is not correct

i googled alot and search for the motherbored AHCI model and find by using CPU-z that the south bridge is

( id1e59 )

i have used Firadisk WinVblocK and all the intel drivers listed under it and nothing works

note: there's no option to change the Harddisk mode from bios ( ahci native legacy etc etc )

any one can help with the driver ?

Can't you get the driver for the specific machine model? (even if it is for another OS it will provide the needed info to search for an XP one).

Pavillion G6 is only slightly more precise than "a HP notebook", there are TENS (actually HUNDREDS) of models :

Post the EXACT model, please or a link to the specific HP driver support page.

You need SATA/AHCI driver for the disk controller, not for the disk itself.

The hardrwareID of the controller seems to be VEN_8086&DEV_1E03 if I am not mistaken. The driver on HP site doesn't seem to support XP.

However, you should be able to get it going by integrating BTS mass storage driver pack in your source which includes the needed driver,  or if already using XP Setup from ISO with help of FIradisk/WInVBlock, the edited by Steve DPMS which would also load Firadis/WInVBlock in a virtual floppy along with the needed driver:
