I have looked all over the net and could not find a good answer to this question.

Using the xboot tool, how can someone make the multiboot  persistent on an external 500 gb seagate usb hdd?

To me, this seems to be in the top five questions needing an answer.  None of the tutorials in english I have found address this issue... though I have been using computers for a long time I am a newbie to this type of thing.

Easy2Boot supports booting from some linux ISOs with persistence.

XBOOOT does not support this and it is no longer being developed as the author unfortunately passed away.
