Some handy ports of commands from Linux to Windows: http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/

Here are some ports of common GNU utilities to native Win32. In this context, native means the executables do only depend on the Microsoft C-runtime (msvcrt.dll) and not an emulation layer like that provided by Cygwin tools.

Shouldn't this go under "news"? :dubbio:

(the project is there since 2000-08-05 , last change in 2007)

Compare with:

http://reboot.pro/to...uest-for-ddexe/

it is one of the most useful resources around , but it would really need a new maintainer that could re-build with an available compiler and update a few of the tools that have become obsolete when compared to the ubiquitous Cygwin versions.
