I simply run WinBuilder.exe and I see "Please select the projects you want to download" and there are

- updates.boot-land.net

- w7pese.spam.net

- vistape.winbuilder.net

........

No WIndows 8

Sorry for an uncomfortabilty!
That list you see is very historic and hardcoded in WinBuilder.

Projects are not part of WinBuilder, but published offers by several project authors.

Good news:
You can download supported projects using reboot.pro's download portal http://reboot.pro/fi...ory/4-projects/

Bad news:
IMO currently there does not exist a running win8 project.
I made a start in multiPE, but the resulting PE still needs some development ...

"multiPE is the first WinBuilder project which builds a PE from XP, Win2003, Vista, Win7 and Win8 (Win8 is alpha stage) sources." I have only winXP and Win8, I can use multiPE? I depend to Win8 especially with internet. When will Win8 beta?

The multiPE Win8 track is currently not supported actively by me.
You can 'use' multiPE whith Win8 source. When you choose a Win8 source CD in multiPE, a PE is built which boots. By clicking F5 the explorer appears.

I'm really glad when a user 'completes' the build (publishing script addons / changes here).

Especially 64bit? I run WinBuilder.exe and can't choose Windows 8.

If you are looking for Windows 8 to GO / LIVE , If you qualify under one of the following programs listed below, you may already have access to the final bits and do not need to download the 90 day evaluation:

 - Microsoft Partner Network
 - MSDN Subscription
 - TechNet Professional Subscription
 - Microsoft Volume Licensing/Software Assurance

then you should start here:

http://technet.micro...ocid=wc-tn-wctc

Where you can download any or both 32/64 bit of Windows 8

Enterprise Evaluation , the 64 bit is 3.25 GB download, and the 32 bit is 2.37 Gb download. Mind you that Windows To Go workspace operates just like any

other installation of Windows with a few exceptions. These exceptions are:

- Internal disks are offline. To ensure data isn’t accidentally disclosed, internal hard disks on the host computer are offline by default when booted into a Windows To Go workspace. Similarly if a Windows To Go drive is inserted into a running system the Windows To Go drive will not be listed in Windows Explorer.

- Trusted Platform Module (TPM) isn’t used. When using BitLocker Drive Encryption a pre-operating system boot password will be used for security rather than the TPM since the TPM is tied to a specific computer and Windows To Go drives will move between computers.

- Hibernate is disabled by default. To ensure that the Windows To Go workspace is able to move between computers easily, hibernation is disabled by default. Hibernation can be re-enabled by using Group Policy settings.

- Windows Recovery Environment isn’t available. In the rare case that you need to recover your Windows To Go drive, you should re-image it with a fresh image of Windows.

- Refreshing or resetting a Windows To Go workspace is not supported. Resetting to the manufacturer’s standard for the computer doesn’t apply when running a Windows To Go workspace, so the feature was disabled.

- Store is disabled by default. Apps licensed through the store are linked to hardware for licensing. Since Windows To Go is designed to roam to different host PCs access to the store is disabled. You can enable the store if your Windows To Go workspaces won’t be roaming to multiple PC hosts.

**More info on this you can find here:

Why not trying out EzPE4 from http://reboot.pro/fi...file/298-ezpe4/

Supports 64bit, looks great and follows the same steps from EzPE3. This is a project that I really recommend trying out.

If using this guide/project:

http://al-jo.99k.org...PEtutorial.html

please post a full html log (zipped) from your build (use a free uploading site).

Also:

Are you booting from usb, cd/dvd or in a virtual machine?

Whats the spec of your machine and which OS?

I'm at work so I cant take an extensive look, but at first glance it looks like you might not have the WAIK installed.

Seems you are using an x64 (or corrupted) source.

As mentioned here:

http://al-jo.99k.org...PEtutorial.html

the source should be Windows8 x86
