In the past some member groups were allowed to click on "like this" at the right-lower corner of every comment made by other members.
There were some troubles to properly configure this system and now it was modified to not only allow all registered members to vote, as it also becomes possible to down vote the comments that you do not agree with.
The score of each member is visible on their respective profiles. Normal members that just registered are allowed to provide positive votes but are restricted from negative votes.
There exist several categories according to the number of reputation given to a member:
Bad -20
Poor -10
Nothing to report 0
Good 10
Trustable 40
Guru 120
As with all voting systems, good sense and civic attitude are requested when using this mechanism.
I hope you enjoy this feature.

@Peter&others, I can choose between the traditional like or the current one. How do you prefer?

But if you decide to not, please also add a 'the poster is a moron' button. Would make a lot of threads way more readable!

I do agree with your opinion about the dislike button, it is prune to be a flame starter.
Since I can't also change this to display who is voting on a given comment, it is better then to just return onto the traditional like system. I'm already happy that the issue impeding other members from voting has been solved.
Will do this change next Monday, leaving things as is for now.

But I miss the old "You like this", and Where can I find my reason?

When people give reputation to you, look on the frontpage of reboot. You find there a new block on the right side with a list of recent reputation and reasons.
This shouldn't have changed, I guess the modification has removed that part. Sorry, not much else that I can do other than disabling this modification to get back the list. But I miss the old "You like this", and Where can I find my reason?

As far as i remember, the trademark of a true genius is, that people in his time consider him a moron and all his ideas nonsense.

But clicking "I don't like" should have 24 hour blocked to vote again against that user ( that I didn't like).
And I also believe that 2 negative votes should be taken as a -1. If more than one user does not like a message then the message is really bad.
Good code Nuno!
