File Name: O&O Safe Erase 4
File Submitter: 2aCD
File Submitted: 13 Nov 2011
File Updated: 11 Apr 2012
File Category: App scripts

What is it?
What happens to your old computer or hard drive when you get a new one? Do you return your company's computers to the leasing company or even sell your laptop on the Internet? In that case, there are good chances that complete strangers might gain access to your private pictures, letters or business secrets.
(from website oo-software.com)

Features:

- secure erase from files, partition and volumes

- Support for 32bit and 64bit

- available languages: english, german, france

Requirements:

- DotNet 2.0 (Copy-Option minimal)

- Filecontainer for needed program files

download: O&O SafeErase file container

Confirmed working with:

- Win7PE_SE

Place both scripts into the same directory (example: %ProjectDir%\Apps\HD Tasks\ )
Put the registration-data and licensekey into the textbox.
Also Demo-modus is supported (not all functions will be available).

DotNet 2.0 is needed.
Use the latest version from here: DotNet 2.0 component redesign
'minimal' as copy-option in the DotNet-component is enough (needs only 60MB uncompressed on CD).

Best Regards

You can self-erase your hard disk without needing to boot to WinPE or any other boot media - see http://www.rmprepusb...-your-hard-disk

The link is working. If your browser opens a text file instead of presenting the download dialog then right-click with your mouse and choose the option "save as.." to download the script.

:)
