I am Finally starting to use Editplus, and I would like to use
it to edit Winbuilder .script files. It would be nice to have Editplus
highlight the syntax similar to Winbuilders Syntax Highlighting.

Does there exist an Editplus .stx file that will accomplish this?.

In case one does not exist, Does anybody know what Syntax
highlighting Winbuilder is modeled after, in the event that
I need to make my own Editplus 3 .STX file.

I have seen references about Winbuilder v078;
(Syntax Highlighter gets word lists from WinBuilder source codeCommandLists.pas)
and I assumed pascal, and I did find some pascal.stx files
on Editplus's website but they were not quite the same.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanx in advance.

Sorry that I have to disappoint you.
WinBuilder uses http://SynEdit.SourceForge.net (modified by me for WinBuilder) to build the highlights internally. You are right that CommandLists.pas is shared to synedit, but currently there is no external file created.

Thanks for the info pscEx, I managed to write script.stx,
a plugin for Editplus 3 v3.21, complete with syntax
highlighting similar to Winbuilders, view the included
.jpg for setting colors in .stx file, Hope everyone
likes, Since I'm new to this .stx stuff I would welcome
input on improvements.
Happy coding reboot

I know this is an old thread, and not even about the current [082] release of WB:

I'm seeking for syntax highlighting for Notepad++ 6.3 (as I loathe editing code within WB), but I don't consider Notepad's UDL support very intuitive.

I can't make use of the .stx stuff or the txt file of pscEx for it. Does anybody happen to have assembled a syntax file for the WB script format?
