Boot any ISO project

Just wanted to give you guys an update on where I was at with this. I'm more interested in getting the script repository up, but I came across another way to extract the ISO in HXDOS, turns out you just have to have the "formats" folder with the iso.dll available to 7zip. This vastly changes the dynamic of what we can do with our USB hd's.

Here's the command line I used:

At that point it hung up for a bit and then went on. What I'm wondering is if this will work under DOS, but I lost Nuno's floppy image/disk that I had that let me run HXDOS. Does anyone have a link to an image that automatically loads everything you need on one floppy FreeDOS image?

Keep in mind this project is designed for a USB hard drive only, so unpacking ISOs in FreeDOS is okay. Obviously you can do that from a CD to RAMdisk or whatever and expect GRUB4DOS to be able to boot it. Bootloaders by their very nature just point to where to start boot and then wipe all RAM usage, meaning that we probably will never be able to boot from a RAM drive (at least for full ISO packages) untill everyone has a minimum of 2-4 gig of RAM.

and copying or xcopying the contents from the mounted virtual CD-ROM to HD, you won't need HXDOS and the procedure should be a bit faster.
