How do I add all available drivers to LiveXP during build? I would like the build to contain all the chipset, graphics, sound, storage, lan, wireless lan drivers for Windows 2000/XP/2003 (x86) DriverPacks available at http://driverpacks.n...verpacks/latest .I am using a DVD so space is not a problem. At times when the graphic drivers are not detected the monitor screen keeps flickering so nothing can be done.

Hi,
The Storage drivers should be integrated on the build using the "DPs Mass Storage Drivers" script because they are needed at boot. The others for Lan, Net, Sound and Graphics can be installed during the boot, one way is to use the "DriverImportPE AE" script. Create a Drivers folder on the DVD root and put there all the drivers packs without extract (7-zip files) when the LiveXP starts it will detect and install the drivers for the hardware detected.
Take note that some graphics and Sound cards can't be installed this simple way and need specific made scripts, search the forum and you will find some.

Hello
Could You make this? because I couldn't.
I’m working with my livexp for 4 days, but I can not make it work.
My problem is, that I can not import the driverpacks.
Till this time I used a bartPE with driverpacks (lan, wifi, Mass storage), what I created 2 years ago, but I would like to use the sound, and the video driverpacks too
I have a windows xp sp3 system, and a winbuilder080.exe, and I’d like to have a full tutorial, from the „first update your winbuilder from the livexp.boot-land.net” till „open your dvd writer program, to write this ISO”
I hope I won’t have a problem to make a bootable usb from it.
Pease send me this tutorial, or a link.
Thank you
Gabor

To add drivers at build time, you need to either write a script for the driver and/or try using Penetwork driver add options
on LiveXP, after booting, use hwpnp to install available drivers.
**
edit: massstorage already available, and penetwork already have option for lan drivers, above is for other drivers.
To add drivers after boot requires your systemdrive (X:) writable. with createiso you need to add fbwf ......
This is mostly prefered since it does not take much space, and faster .....
The link given above by Rui Paz provides all known applications mostly used for this task.
2 of them popular,
"nikzzz zpnp", used to add lan (and mass storage I guess) at boot time automatically.
"Dipe - Amalux Edition", used to automate adding all possible drivers automatically.
edit: be sure you enable hdaudio script to get your audio work with its drivers
read some last posts of that topic....
Here you go, from King Amalux:I’d like to have a full tutorial, from the „first update your winbuilder from the livexp.boot-land.net” till „open your dvd writer program, to write this ISO”

Thank you, it worked
I have to ask one more thing about the file association.
I'd like to use a file extension (krc) with an exe, what is in the program files map, there is no problem till I restart winpe, after the restart the winpe forgot about it.
How should I solve this problem?

Something like following will probably work
Edit: Fixed
http://www.mediafire...iftoupzufvjbp7n
(open with notepad and change [variables] section with your application .....)
but in princaple, I advice you to trace your utilities association key values ....
