Hello,
Does somthing like this already exist? I really don't think I'm the first to come up with such an idea but I haven't found anything useful until now. Only homebrew/embedded web servers that are cool but not exactly what I want.
The purpose of this would be to redirect (or even boot from embedded flash memory directly) those restricted PC's that boot from PXE (only) so that one could easily boot anything, after.
Sure, why not bring a laptop, netbook, (etc.) and boot through them but the main idea is to boot those restricted pc's avoiding any attention. Something that's usb powered would be even better. Just a usb cable, a ethernet cable and a little black box in the middle
If not with embedded memory and other fancy complicated hardware, at least something that redirects to the (restricted) cd-rom boot or usb boot via plop, etc.
