As often happens, I beg to disagree.

Medusa is definitely improper as a name for the way it is used on the board to describe "misterious" and "ugly" problems:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medusa
as she was actually a guardian, protecting something, and usually represented as good-looking, though terrible.

Archie follows the idea of tentacled creature:
http://en.wikipedia..../Archie_(squid)

But we should use appropriate mythological characters, the Hecatonchires
http://en.wikipedia....i/Hecatonchires
though relatively misknown, appear like more suited to embody the terror, and uglyness and the awe these errors represent.
Briareus/Aigaion - the vigorous, the sea goat
Cottus - the striker
Gyges - the big limbed
sound far more terrifying than "Medusa":

... and definitely much better than "Archie".

..... and soon or later we may be able to bring them back to Tartarus.....

Congradulations Peter

First time you find a bug yourself (medusa or not, god knows) with your home made winbuilder by testing your project.

But as usual you represent your careless, sketchy and childish way of your logic.

test your project with official winbuilder 080 to success.

Good progress, more needed, please continue.

@jaclaz,

you are right, but Medusa is more popular (more known) and most people knows the snake hairs of medusa ... from cartoons, games etc.

For some reasons Medusa gives more inspiration like one of the best game ever written StarCraft
Posted Image

ps: I love this game for some reasons, it works on computers down to 100 MHZ (or less) up to any windows os  and people still plays  . Something that I highly respect to original authors for their far sight on coding & design etc....

Name given my me as "Medusa bug of winbuilder" with mixing stories in a funny way on wb080 development topic post 122 ,

well I do not report any of winbuilder bugs either medusa or not  and get away from that medusa development spending my time on better things. Sadly (but with no surprise) Peter tries to make childish posts for a while to annoy which on current case it give me a big smile

I hope Peter can spend his time on other things than spending time on writing annoying posts (which frequently contain lies).

Maybe you can make Peter understand that not annoying each other is good for a community. Neither my German nor my English enough for that, but since it is not about coding I hope you can. If you try, I wish best luck.

 That's a tall order, to ask jaclaz to explain, why not to annoy others!

The most I could do, I did, at the time:

Unfortunately Wowbagger has been banned and besides he has a lot of work to do, so I don't think he won't be able to come back to properly offend psc and lancelot, thus putting things back in the right prospective, any soon.

:)
