Hello! This is a great forum, with many informative posts, but so far I haven't been able to find a post that will help me solve this problem.
My VistaPE build has no network support. After boot, the drivers for my network adapters (Broadcom NetLink Fast Ethernet and Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG) are not installed properly. After using Device Manager to manually update the driver for the Broadcom adapter, the device fails to start. This adapter is Enabled w/PXE in the BIOS and it does work when booting my normal installation of Vista.
My VistaPE boot disk was created using almost all scripts in VistaPE Core v.12 (RC1). All Drivers scripts are included in the build. A copy of my log file is attached.
Can any of you point me to a forum post, or provide other advice that can help solve this problem?

Many thanks!

I hope someone out there can help. I still have not resolved this problem. I tried Holger's PENetwork Manager for VistaPE, but it reports "No network cards detected! Program will be Exit now."
I've noticed that many have read this post, and a few have even downloaded my VistaPE build log. Can't one of you help?

You don't have WAIK installed?
You have this Warning in the log:
"Error! WIMMaster script can not be processed - Not supported using DVD as source and WAIK not present."
Suggestion:
Try to install WAIK.
Try to disable WIMMaster script.
Try to "accept license for Windows XP SP2 Recovery Console!"
Try to include the WLAN drivers:
http://vistape.winbu...ers-Wlan.script

SOLVED.

I was able to correct this without WAIK; I had already included the WLAN drivers script, to no avail.

Ultimately Holger's PENetwork Manager for VistaPE script did work... after I pointed it to a directory that contained the network adapter driver. That script is *almost* brilliant - it really could use some kind of checking/error-throwing feature so that users like me don't run it without realizing that it really won't work unless the driver location is specified. As you've seen, al_jo, I don't pay much attention to warnings, but I do abide error messages.
