In the old times we used pencil stubs, ink pens, felt tip pens, and almost anything that could leave a sign behind.

Can you still use it with your default OS or do you need to mantain some old version of Windows to use it?And yes, I still have an A3 serial pen plotter.

What do you mean "use"?
Install as a "system printer"?
No, it's a serial, you just send data to the port using an HPGL DOS program (it may be possible to find some Windows drivers but never bothered).
I am talking of something that was already outdated when Win95 came out.
