Fix Registry Contaminated By Virus

I don't know about advanced virus or worm, usually I just trust Kaspersky Removal Tool to do the job.
However, most of virus problem that I encountered involve some simple and generic viruses that usually built by highschool children. Not sophisticated enough but disturbing indeed. Most antivirus software doing a good job to chase away this rascal, but some are not.
To kill this virus I use my PE CD to boot the computer, use WinPatrol and Runscanner. However the registry usually already contaminated and thing like Regedit or Taskmanager won't run, Folderoption won't let me show hidden and system hidden file.
So I use 3 file to fix it, I collect this 3 file from internet and I don't know who made it.

File 1 : Folder Option.reg
Restore back default FolderOption

File 2: Registry Fix.inf
Rigt Click and choose Install. Please edit it first since it restore some setting to default and it change RegisteresOrganization to "Your Organization", Product Name to " Product Name' and so on. Please edit it first if you don't want to lose your information. Most viruses change this name to something silly.

File 3: xp_fileassoc.bat
Restore back standard file association
