Fred Langa, author of the popular LangaList for those who remember it some years ago and currently collaborating as editor for the Windows Secrets newsletter has published an article called "Put your Windows installation on a diet" where WinBuilder is compared alonside BartPE and nLite when it comes to produce minimal windows OS's.

No surprise for us but a nice recognition and the newsletter itself is reportedly send out for over 400k readers (according to the site).

Here is an excerpt of his article:

Winbuilder sports a slicker interface, and I consider it the easiest of the three programs to use. An added feature of Winbuilder is its VistaPE option. The other two tools focus mostly on XP. You'll find a Winbuilder link on the company's download page.

With these three tools or similar utilities, you can produce a new, legit, stripped-down copy of Windows. You end up with a fresh, fast, small, efficient, and minimal OS.
