Yesterday Nuno gave the ability to get nativeEX directly from the new (since version 053 beta 8) Download Center. :P

I just uploaded the project and it is ready for download now. :P

If you already have an installation with nativeEx, you can get the newest scripts (see history, will be written in some minutes after creating this post) by using the 'Download Center' tab.
Please choose the complete nativeEx project, not only the scripts which are marked by WinBuilder.
(There are some smaller changes under the same version number, sorry :P )

If you do not have nativeEx in your version 053 beta 9b installation, you can get it by use of the 'Download Center' tab, too.
But after that you have to 'install' the script by
  • Click the 'Open' button, navigate to 'Projects\nativeEX' and click 'OK'
In this case currently you will get an 'access error'.
Do not worry about that and click the 'Refresh' button.
After that the nativeEx project will be available.
If there are any troubles with the download mechanism, let me know.

Currently there is another issue to be solved:
As reported here currently there is a bug in the new update mechanism which prohibits correct run of the project.

To have a temporary walkaround:
In the very first run after a fresh download the !Fundamentals script fixes the tree structure and asks for a restart of WinBuilder.
Please do so!

I just tried successful:
  • created an empty folder 'test1' on my desktop
  • download WinBuilder beta 9b
  • unzipped into test1, started test1\winbuilder
  • did a download of all
  • clicked 'Open', choose Projects\nativeEx
  • ignored the 'Access violation' error, just clicked ok
  • clicked 'Refresh'
  • selected the nativeEx project
  • adjusted the path to my source CD
  • clicked 'Play'
  • restarted WinBuilder after the according message
  • clicked 'Play'
The project was built and came up under qEmu.

@smiley: We have to find out what's different on your system. Currently I have no idea.

As a current walkaround the latest version (including MMC) is available at the old download link.
