Boot Land has exchanged banners with 4sysops, a windows technology blog written by Michael Pietroforte, a german windows administrator.
I think you'll like Michael's articles, he has a strong opinion on what is happening around the web and provides very interesting readings.
You can visit here:
http://4sysops.com
Have fun!

I like the way he expresses his opinions.
But I guess that he is a bit mis-informed on a number of topics (at least this happens on the very few ones I am informed on).
It is at the least strange he has an article (with mostly incorrect info) on BartPE:
http://4sysops.com/a...escue-platform/
and one on UBCD4WIN, as well with a quantity of unjustified deductions/mis-represented facts:
http://4sysops.com/a...ve-rescue-tool/
and nothing about Winbuilder!
I hope he will have some time to actually visit boot-land and possibly get the facts about PE building "right".

Yes, for some reason I see this happening a lot in many other places.
Guess we get to spend too much time with boot disks to know better..

Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 is blocking traffic when I try to view winbuilder.net on my laptop. After loading the first page it blacklists your IP for a while. I didn't catch the details when the dialog box popped up, and I can't find it anywhere in the logs. I'll try to catch the reason next time.
I suspect this link exchange, because I was able to view winbuilder.net without problems a few days ago.

I'd seriously doubt that the reason would be from this link exchange as the source is a respected blogger.
A more feasible reason would be due to the newsletter emails that were sent two weeks ago in a broken format.
Would you be available to check if there is any support line at Symantec available to whitelist this IP?
Otherwise there's little else that can be done. Philippe Jounin also saw his TFTPD32 being marked as malicious application by Mcafee without chance of solving this matter.

Hum, now I can't make it happen.
ABE from another computer: Yes, I can. It's on the last page of the PENetwork thread. But now I have to wait a half-hour to try again. I may not get to it tonight.
I doubt Symantec's into whitelisting. I wouldn't be if I were them. Suppose you change your IP and a black hat gets your old one!

Thanks Nuno
Michael is quite fast, sent me an e-mail. My comment considered as a spam, I guess because of my e-mail adress name!. If it happens again on another website I guess I have to change it to sth like lance_carina@....com , but it will be sad to leave this verrry old e-mail adress

Glad it's solved.
btw: You don't need to register a new email account. I've set up an alias as lancelot(at)winbuilder.net that will forward all email onto your current email address.
You can use it as replacement if you wish, please test if the above email address is working correctly.
