Hi,

does anyone has an idea, if it is possible to install the Terminal Services on PE, so that we
can have remote control to PE.
This I would like to use as a emergency rescue system, but also to install from remote an operating system like XP.

I have installed VNC on a special Vista PE, this works but I would prefer Remote Desktop.

Regards
Gerald

as far as i know this has never been done...even under normal xp pe...the reason may be that terminal services are linked to special licenses, that are probably not active in pe...

I think you all missed something. Remote Desktop requires, to log in, a user account, which is password protected and nobody loged in at the moment.
A PE has no user account switching and password protecting the system account isn't possible. Even if it were how does one log out of it?

So if it has to be RD, you're looking at a lot of patching.

Why don't you use something like TeamViewer? I use it here and works pretty good. All is needed is the LAN/WLAN drivers.
