Today for the second time (different topic) I saw in a topic a post of Ispy as latest, but he is not in the list of 'Members Who Viewed Topic Today'
Actual: this one

The other one I do not remember exactly, but I think it has been my tutorial 'BartPE plugins in WinBuilder project'

Does he have a special VIP status to hide his visits, or is there a bug in the forum's SW?

Don't know, could be either as far as I can tell but this is really strange.. :)

I wonder if this also occurs with Shirin for example? :)

You are right!
Shirin is also incognito.

It seems to depend on the 'Tutorial Writers' class. Space in the name?!?!

As I see it, ALL member names and titles should comply to 8.3 naming convention.

This is by design.

Heck :), this is a DOS\Windows based board, you don't want these new things like Joliet or multidot stuff here, do you? :)

As result:
  • Let's give our Tutorial Writers a new title
  • Let's reopen the old discussion :)
  • Let the Admins decide about the modified title

Don't know if we'd have to do it all over again.. :)

Besides, they're not the only ones with spaces on their names, look how our own ".script developer" group also has enough "space" on the title.

We could in alternative label them as "Stealth"

Guess the truth should is still out there.. :)

Hi all :) ,

So you've spotted the "Kansas city Shuffle" mis-direction slight of hand, is it a mirage? No! it's ispy & shirin up to their old tricks again! Dam I enjoyed the incognito status, I luv a bit of "ducking & diving" :) now you see me now you don't LOL! Why do you think they call me ispy :) AKA 007, James, James Bond Dern dern-dern-dern Dern! Dern-dern-dern dern & yes my wife does look like Ursula Undress, both then & now LOL!

Maybe it's something to do with the anonymous tick box when you log on?

Suggestion for new name (You asked for it) Annoying_little_pests~LFN

It's no problem to me anyways!

Anyway, (completely & utterly OFF topic) here's a funny picture of me preparing for a christmas party

Regards & Best Wishes,

For a large part of my day, only I am visible as the member who has visited posts I am viewing, even though I know that not to be true. Then, quite late in the day suddenly a heap of other names appear in addition to mine. My guess would be that there is some sort of time-zone glitch or something.

Regards,
Galapo.

Time zone difference might happen indeed.

Have you configured it correctly?

Personal CP --> Board Settings --> Time Zone

Or if you have already done this step, would you try the reverse and select GMT to compare the differences?

On vBulletin boards the stats will display the number of visitors over the last 24 hours, on IPB it resets the counter at midnight (GMT).

These are all things that I hope to fix in a couple of months, I'm planning on a good house cleaning around November or maybe sooner if things work out well.

:)

I had it confirgured as GMT +10. I've reversed it and will let you know if I notice a difference.

Galapo.

Quite strange: now posts I make are said to have been posted "yesterday", even though I'm posting them "today"!

But altering timezone back to GMT +10 has them displaying correctly as "today".

Galapo.

If I am logged in, there is no 'Members Who Viewed Topic Today' bar shown at all. if I'm logged out, I see the bar but always shows '0' Members (no names). It's been this way for a week or so...
