I just decided for gambling.

The chance to win some money there seems to be bigger than the chance to access boot-land.net

Hi,

I'll be offline during the next weeks due to Christmas vacation time and also because I'll be trying to study hard to pass with good grades on the semester exams at the end of January - 5 of these exams to be more precise and this includes learning C language from scratch and even some crispy assembler instructions (never really liked C that much but maybe this becomes a good reason to finally learn).

My personal messenger was disabled to keep away the temptation of visiting these addictive forums instead of dedicating time to books and I won't certainly check my mailbox very often so it could pass a long time until I answer back.. laugh.gif

In the meanwhile - wb 074 was made available and I hope to return in mid-February when these studies are finished (until the end of 2nd semester near the summer vacations).

I'll surely miss everyone here.

Wish me luck!

It is worthwhile to suffer!

Good luck Nuno!

I just decided (after a new 5 minutes session of retries) for me:

When I see the 500 error, I forget bootland-net for today and go try again tomorrow.

Therefore, if some replies of mine you are waiting for do not appear, you know the reason.

Peter

BTW: I copied this post into the clipboard to have it saved for next trial after a new '500 server'

Interesting, i didn't encounter a 500 error today for the first time this week.
Already thought, that a certain someone might have mercy with us and fixed the problem.

And if I estimate the sum of my 500 retries this week: it can be 15 to 30 minutes!
