This is a new feature specially meant to provide a way of messaging between forums members.

psc had mentioned how sometimes forums get somewhat crowded with question that would be better answered this way. Initially I thought on adding a shoutbox, but I guess this would likely make the main page take more time to get loaded, so this solution won't bloat performances..

wouldn't it be better to just use IRC? just pick a network and create a #boot-land.net channel...

setting up eggdrop/bnc/-pick-your-bot- to keep the channel open/prevent highjacking would be a different matter entirely though.

This feature doesn't require any program instalation and all users from boot-land.net are already registered inside the live chat memberlist since it's using the same sql database..

Simple, isn't it? :P
