Hi,

Will convert a disk image from one format to another :

-RAW to EWF, VHD, DEVIO
-EWF to RAW
-DEVIO to RAW
-VDI to RAW
-VMDK to RAW
-VHD to RAW
-QCOW to RAW

RAW can be a file or \\.\PhysicalDrivex.

This is part of CloneDisk but I thought having a standalone program might come handy as well, similiar to DiskMgr, PartMgr, VolumeMgr.

Regards,
Erwan

Good :)
No RAW to .vmdk? :w00t:

As a side note, and JFYI, as you well know there are a zillion formats for .vmdk descriptor files, and there are some *queer* parsing of them by different programs, namely Virtualbox.

Even if vboxmanager can do it, I believe that this and/or clonedisk would be simpler for the common user.

If you haven't seen this:

maybe you could check and modify (if needed) both this thingy here and clonedisk accordingly.

I remember reading this post along with your findings and back then I took a mental note that I should update CloneDisk.

Thanks for this, I should shortly come with an updated version of ImgConvert (and therefore CloneDisk as well as this is shared code).

@erwan.l
I look forward to checking this new program out - looks good. Whilst there are a lot of functions available in Clonedisk that you are replicating elsewhere, like in this new program, I like the simplified usage in your standalone apps.
