yesterday I created my first LiveXP CD. I integrated OperaCD. After booting the CD I click the icon for the PENetwork Manager.
I typed my static IP, the sub mask and the gateway in the forms. Next I pressed the apply button and then the OK button.
When I started the browser the massage appers that it can't find the remoted server.
As next I opened the CMD and want to ping my router. It was not saccesful.
So my question is, what can I do to enter the internet.
Thanks for your help!

I would recommend downloading other projects to test the network features since live xp needs to be updated to the latest improvements done by nativeEx.
On the download center there's a box saying "updates.boot-land.net" - click and select "psc.boot-land.net/Projects" to download nativeEx - repeat the same steps to see how it goes.
One other project is NativePE (also based on nativeEx) - it is available on thunn's web server, do the same steps as mentioned above and good luck!
One other thing: Have you added any sort of network drivers on your project?
Can you acess the internet inside qemu?

My experience adding drivers is also reduced, but I hope other with more experience can provide you clear and easy to follow steps. (I know I would also like to learn more about this myself..)
It would also help if you post the details for your NIC (network interface card)

I started a nativeEx_barebone project. Befor I copied the files which phox had posted into the drivers folder. After creating the ISO, qEmu started and booted the ISO. And started booting again and again and again.
So I had never seen a destop or something like this.
Parallel I made a LiveXP project. I copied the same driver files into the drives folder. qEmu started the ISO and after a while I can see the desktop. Some seconds later I got the following message:
No network cards detected! Program will be Exit now.
By the way: psc wrote my in the German forum that I should enable the checkbox for Qemu Network Driver.
So what did I wrong???
Hope you can help me ...
All the other things which I want (Image, burner ...) works wonderfull ..
greetings

Try the 'low level' way with nativeEx_barebone:
- Download the latest WinBuilder into an empty directory.
- Go to the 'Download' tab (if it does not appear automatically)
- Chose 'psc.boot-land.net/Projects'
- Click 'Download' in the upper left
- Go to the 'Paths' tab
- Choose your path to the setup CD or your XP source folder
- Click the 'Run' triangle in the upper left.
If that works, everything is ok with your system and all the other stuff is just a question of adding, tuning, deleting, ...

thank's for your replay.
I did all the steps which you have posted.
On the QEmu it works
But ...
when I boot my computer with the ISO on a CD I got the message:
No network cards detected! Program will be Exit now.
The same is on my laptop computer.
At the PC I can't use my USB keyboard nor my mouse. And on the laptop I can use only the keyboard.
Maybe it will help I you know which network card I have in use:
PC: Onboard LAN 3Com Gigabit LOM (3C940)
Laptop: Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection
While having this problems an other question came up to me:
How will it work on an other computer? Did I still have the same problems with the network card?
Have a nice day!

P.S. I will check this now with LiveXP

#1: You have tgo include USB support
#2: For qEmu, VMWare VPC and VirtualBox the network drivers are includede in the nativeEx_barebone project.
To boot from CD you must add all the network card's drivers of all the PCs where you want to boot.
That means you have to write your own driver scripts.
Usually that is copying one *.sys into /i386/system32/drivers, maybe additional *.dll and / or *.ext into /i386/system32 and a *.inf into /i386/inf.
Best is you do a download of the driver you need, unzip it into an empty directory (e.g. %BaseDir%\Drivers\3C940) and let the script copy from there.
(It may help to copy e.e. the qEmu network driver script and to edit to the acording names).

@psc: Maybe I'm sitting on my eyes ...
... but I can't find a checkbox to activate the USB support. Or must I write a script for this function?

Inside LiveXp, maybe inside NativePE there should be a script you can copy.
You should also can get it from the author's site: http://ove.boot-land.net
