Hello,

@Nuno Brito & pscEx

A combined window for console output, configurations and so on would be nice. Something in the direction of an IDE like Eclipse, CodeWorks, Visual Studio, etc. Also an WYSIWYG Editor for the HTML-Files, etc...

The current multi-window environment of the builder is confusing. It reminds me of GIMP. I hate/like GIMP.

The main problem is when you are developing a new project or maintaining one, you have more than then Windows, then Applications and so on open. The builder should be combined in one Window, or give us the opportunity to choose how we would like it.

Is an script editor planned?

SciLexer plugin for java?

At least a notepad++ userdefined-lang or something like that?

Hello,

You're one of the first persons asking for such feature. Internally, I write the scripts using NetBeans as IDE since the scripts are plain Java-based source code files. To use autocomplete I add the needed libraries. I think you can get similar results if you:

1) Start a new Java project in NetBeans IDE (or similar IDE)

2) Rename winbuilder.exe to winbuilder.jar

3) Add winbuilder.jar as a library on your project

Then the scripts you are writing should have auto-complete available for the winbuilder specific functions. Like I said, we didn't had requests before for this kind of functionality so we can build a "winbuilder SDK" that would be hosted on github: https://github.com/winbuilder

Would you like to help us make this possible? :)

Yes, of course  :fine:

But, i will need some time with java  :lamo: , cause i developed only with c++/c#/scripts until yet.

With some java/bsh skills, maybe i will understand what i am actually doing  :book: .

I will try it with NetBeans IDE, but I am more familiar with Eclipse, lets see what is for me easier to configure.
