Can somebody explain how to remove StartMenu from Explorer Shell?
I tried registry tweak, but it not works (startmenu killer just hide it).
REASON(s)
1) This is win 8 not win 7 to have old start menu.
2) Start menu is not practical (fast) for navigation and just take the place on taskbar.
3) If somebody want Start menu, it is very easy possible to replace it with any of (many) available (free) and portable win 8 style start menu (so, tiles instead of icons).
4) ,,,,
Finally, I cant understand why Start menu MUST to be conected with explorer shell (but this is not important, as it is just me). Apps navigation (start menu) and file navigation (explorer) are essentially same, but in real world, two completely different issues. Also, this is (removal of classic start menu) also what we get like resalt of MS evaluation of future OS development.
IDEA
Im personally using JUST explorer for file navigation (thats why I want it and not BS and simillar) and personally metro style redisigned Xlauncpad for apps navigation (launched at startup - run from CD, so any further customization is realtime and persistent - it completely replace all start menu features and all additional portable launchers in ONE single launcher - much faster for navigation than ANY ther solution - .... - THIS IS NOT ADVERTISEMENT, just facts).
PLEASE HELP!
