I need a working Teamviewer script for Win7PE_SE. I already found one, but Teamviewer doesn't start and doesn't even throw an error.

Has anyone a working script?

Teamviewer seems to really hate having to run in system account. It even tries to switch the user!
When that fails too, it shuts down.

There is a portable version of Teamviewer. Perhaps this will work?

Nope. Doesn't, already tryed.
Teamviewer checks, if it is run in the systemaccount and if so, attempts to switch the user, if that fails it exits.
Eighter we would need to trick it, into believing it is not running in the system account or we would need to hack it, to not care.

For both, i don't have the time right now.

Hello MedEvil

You can test this very light script. Maybe it will help you.

I did test the english version of that script already this afternoon.

Surprising, that noone ever reported that it doesn't work.

Thanks anyway. Will have to do some more tests, at least i know now, that it should work.

LinuxBaby, i tested it just on 32Bit, but it will have to work in the end on 64bit.

Yes, you're right.

It starts fine in Admin acct - if you keep it open , and relaunch shell as system , TV7 keeps working.

However, it won't start, or restart in System acct.

Maybe there is a way to trick it into thinking it is in Admin acct.

Since previous versions didn't had that problem, i guess it is a deliberate hack vom the producers to make Teamviewer incompatible with PE.

This will probably become a pro feature one has to pay for.

Since this is the same script you posted before, the question arises, why does it work for you?

Does your build differ in any way from the default download of Win7PE_SE?

Hi Linuxbabay,

That is TV 6 - there is no problem with it. TV 5 and 6 have always worked fine in PE.

It is TV 7 ( the new one ) which does not work.

Let's say, V6 works sometimes. ;)
The V6 script does zip for me, as posted before.

I tried TV V7 with win 7 SP0 pe already.

That was before Medevil spotted the issue.

Strange it has changed like that.

Since previous versions didn't had that problem, i guess it is a deliberate hack vom the producers to make Teamviewer incompatible with PE.

This will probably become a pro feature one has to pay for.

Are there enough people running TV in pe that they would even think about trying to prevent it?

Found by accident a way to use Teamviewer 7!
One does require a few things and it's a bit of a pain in the behind, to set everything up correctly, but it works.
Still, i will stick to V6. Works with much less effort.

What you will need is deras my_own3 script pack from here: http://reboot.pro/14988/#entry133947

- build a PE with those scripts.
- after boot, install all drivers and enable network (That's crucial!!!)
- log off
- login as Administrator (Now a lot of things, like for instance Wallpaper, driver install, sidebar are not working anymore!)

But on thing is!!! ;)
- start Teamviewer 7

Have fun!

I didn't use dera's script, tho - in fact never heard of it.

Will have a look at it if I get the time.

Can't you log in as admin if you use win 7 pe se ?

Havn't tryed with the latest version. But back in summer last year, when dera did develop the scripts, it wasn't possible any other way.

Thanks for the hint, will try without dera script pack.

PS: How do you restart the shell in system account?
